Cristiano Ronaldo trains with Real Madrid amid search for new club

The Portuguese superstar is keeping himself fit as he plans to continue his club career with a winter move.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly returned to Real Madrid’s training ground after his World Cup campaign ended last weekend.

Ronaldo is a free agent after the termination of his Manchester United contract last month. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is yet to decide on his next move. But that hasn’t stopped him from continuing his training.

According to Spanish outlet Revelo, Ronaldo has returned to Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground to work on his individual programme.

It marks the first time Ronaldo has returned to his former club’s training facilities since his exit in 2018.

Ronaldo has reportedly avoided contacting his former teammates over his decision to use the training ground. However, his presence has excited Real Madrid’s younger players, who were thrilled to see the club legend bless them with a surprise return.

Speaking about his love for Real Madrid in 2019, Ronaldo said: “I miss both of them [ Manchester United and Real Madrid], but I spent more time at Real Madrid, and my family grew up here so I miss Real Madrid more. It wasn’t easy to leave Real Madrid after nine years.”

As of now, Al-Nassr seem to be in the pole position to sign Ronaldo after submitting a mega offer to the 37-year-old. The former Real Madrid star also has offers from MLS, while Chelsea are reportedly interested in keeping him in the Premier League.
